The list collects 50 most beautiful tourist attractions. The selection was organized by the Global Travel Newspaper, together with 31 newspapers from 31 provinces of China. The vote was conducted on the Internet, SMS and in the press. After the vote of the organizing committee whose members are officials and Occidental in China with the approval of the jury, 50 most beautiful tourist attractions were selected.

On the list is the Imperial Palace in Beijing, Mount Qomolangma, Riyuetan Taiwan and Hong Kong. The 46 other tourist and historical sites are as follows:

Anhui Province: Mount Huangshan and Mount Jiuhuashan, the village of Xidihong;

Beijing: The Badaling Great Wall;

Fujian Province: Gulangyu Island, Mount Wanshishan, the Taining World Geologic Park;

Gansu Province: The Mogao Grotto in Dunhuang, Mount Kongtong;

Guangdong Province: Watchtower Kaiping;

Guangxi Province: Street Xijie Yangshuo, the ancient village of Huangyao;

Guizhou Province: The tourist site of the Shuanghe Cave;

Hainan Province: Wuzhizhou Island;

Heilongjiang Province: The tourist village at the north pole of Mohe;

Hubei Province: Shennongjia;

Hunan Province: Mount Tianmen and Mount Hengshan;

Inner Mongolia: The Desert Badan Jilin and Mount A’ershan;

Jiangsu Province: The tourist site of Mount Huaguoshan and Zhouzhuang village;

Jiangxi Province: Mount Lushan, the town of Jingdezhen and the Mount Longhu;

Liaoning Province: The Shenyang Imperial Palace and the three imperial tombs;

Ningxia: Fresco of Helanshan Mountain in Zhongwei, Shapotou;

Qinghai Province: Qinghai Lake;

Shan’xi Province: The terracotta soldiers and horses in the tomb of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty, Mount Huashan, the Forest of Steles Museum, Huaqing Pool;

Shandong Province: Mount Taishan;

Shanghai: Zhujiajiao;

Shanxi Province: The ancient town of Pingyao, Yao Temple;

Sichuan Province: Jiuzhaigou, Sanxingdui;

Tibet: Namco;

Xinjiang: Kanass, Kashi and the U’erhe Devil Town;

Yunnan Province: The valley of wild elephants Xishuanbanna, Mount Meili of snow, the World Geological Park of Forest of rocks;

Zhejiang Province: The tourist site of Putuo
