The Wonton is the Chinese traditional food. It originated from the north of China. The Chinese Wonton is similar to Chinese Jiaozi. But there are some differences between Chinese Wonton and Chinese Jiaozi. Wonton skin is square that the length of side is 6 cm, or isosceles trapezoid that top edge is 5 cm and bottom edge is 7 cm; but the Jiaozi skin is roundness that the diameter is 7 cm. The Wonton skin is relatively thin and it is transparent after boiling; but the Jiaozi skin is relatively thick. The Wonton is a kind of very toothsome Chinese food. Now I introduce its making method:
Ingredients:
1/2 pound pork, finely chopped
1 teaspoon sugar
3 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon wine
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 green onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon chopped fresh ginger
28 wonton wrappers
2 cups chicken stock
Sesame oil
Directions:
1. Combine pork, vegetable oil, 2 teaspoon salt, wine, soy sauce, green onion and ginger in a large bowl. Mix well, and put it aside for 30 minutes.
2. Put about one teaspoon of the stuffing in the center of each wonton skin. Moisten 4 edges of wonton wrapper with water, then pull the top corner down to the bottom, folding the wrapper over the filling to make a triangle. Press edges firmly to seal. Bring left and right corners together above the stuffing. Overlap the tips of these corners, moisten with water and press together. Continue until all wrappers are used.
3. Make the chicken stock to boil. Add 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon sugar. Drop wontons and cook for 6 minutes. Add several drops of sesame oil. OK! You can enjoy it now!

Wow, the cooking method of this wonton is great, I’ll try it later and I hope it tastes the way it look. Thanks for sharing!
